This wayfinding project with Hudson Square BID guides pedestrians through a history of the neighborhood as they navigate a new route to the waterfront. Each 18” diameter fiberglass sphere illustrates a point of interest relating to the history of the neighborhood, from pre-colonial times to current day. A gradient color scheme and arrow with the date, along with fish native to the Hudson River, point the way to the water. This project is accompanied by an audio guide accessible on the HSBID website.
